Day 1: Breakfast. Departure in the morning towards Barreal, you can enjoy sights of great beauty along the way. Accommodation in Barreal. In the afternoon, visit to La Pampa ‘El Leoncito’, and, later to CASLEO Observatory and CESCO Observatory. Tour around the Observatory to see the main telescope, control room and other facilities. Dinner at the Observatory and, later, star watching with special equipment assisted by specialized technical staff. Return to Barreal hotel. This night experience can be done at either of the two Observatories.

Day 2: Breakfast. In the morning, visit to local producers of aromatic herbs, jams, jellies and honey. Departure to San Juan. Arrival in San Juan after 4pm.

IMPORTANT NOTE: CASLEO and CESCO Observatories are located at an altitude of more than 2400 meters above sea level and you can stay a night there, subject to availability, instead of staying in Barreal. People older than 70 years old or children under 4 years old are not allowed to stay at the observatory. Since scientific activities are a priority, availability needs to be confirmed.
