Discover the historic legacy of Sarmiento's Birthplace (Casa Natal de Sarmiento) and the striking architecture of the San Juan Cathedral. The journey continues with a panoramic view of the avant-garde Bicentennial Theater (Teatro del Bicentenario), followed by a delicious introduction to local flavors. Enjoy a guided tour and tasting at either the Campo de Olivos olive oil facility or the picturesque Finca Sierras Azules winery. To wrap up the day, you will drive alongside the massive reservoir of the Ullum Dam (Dique de Ullum), a stunning oasis nestled between mountains that offers postcard-worthy sunset views before returning to the hotel.Note: The mentioned sites may be replaced by others based on availability and opening hours.

Day 2: Journey into Triassic Rock Formations & Valle FértilFollowing breakfast, you will be transferred toward Valle Fértil. Today features a visit to the Ischigualasto Provincial Natural Park, famously known as the Valley of the Moon (Valle de la Luna). Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this mystical territory transports you 250 million years back in time. You will explore the park via an internal vehicle circuit that reveals a purely lunar landscape guarded by massive clay and sandstone structures sculpted by wind erosion, such as The Mushroom (El Hongo), The Submarino (El Submarino), and The Bowling Green (La Cancha de Bochas). This immersive experience is enriched by a stop at its renowned Natural Sciences Museum, a key research center displaying the actual fossil remains of some of the oldest dinosaurs on the planet discovered right in this San Juan soil. The day concludes with an overnight stay in the town of Valle Fértil.

Day 3: Red Stone Giants & Return to Valle FértilAfter an early breakfast, we cross the provincial border into the majestic Talampaya National Park, where nature shocks the senses on a monumental scale. You will venture into a canyon guarded by sheer, vertical red sandstone walls towering over 150 meters (490 feet) high.During the internal guided excursion, you will discover the rich pre-Columbian history left behind in ancient petroglyphs, experience the surprising acoustic echo echoing inside The Gothic Cathedral (La Catedral Gótica), and witness the grandeur of The Monk (El Monje) rock formation, all while spotting native desert wildlife. At the end of the tour, we make our way back to Valle Fértil for your overnight accommodation.
